I'd like to take a moment to criticize artificially sweetened drinks. There's a real sugarfree fad going on, because people want to lose weight and think sugarfree sodas are a healthier alternative. However, artificial sweeteners are bad for your stomach in the long term because your body doesn't naturally want to digest them. Companies are also encouraging people to buy the sugarfree alternatives, because sugar tax doesn't apply to them.

Today, once again, I went to the store to buy more RAM so I could keep using the Internet. For 20 years I've been using the Innerneh to do the same thing: write text and look at 50kb jpg files. But this same task is requiring more and more processing power from my computer, and a faster connection. Nobody else is noticing this. "RAM is dirt cheap, just buy more lol." I need to upgrade my PC because sites are full of bloat. They want to track your mouse and use timers to count the milliseconds you spend hovering over a pic. I don't want that. They do. Yet I need to pay up if I want to keep my meme and social addiction. I'm basically paying for my own surveillance and being blackmailed.
